Underwriting firm, Mutual Benefits Assurance, has provided free insurance cover worth N1.5 billion for the Armed Forces International Polo Tournament.
Meanwhile, the company has reiterated its commitment to enhance the nation’s insurance industry through youth empowerment and other tournaments across the Federation, as part of its corporate social responsibility services.
Spokesman for Mutual Benefits, Ellen Offo, disclosed this at the presentation of the Policy Document to the Organising Committee of the Armed Forces International Polo Tournament in Abuja.
Offo, who underscored the relevance of insurance to different sectors of the economy, said: “Empowerment through the development of sports has been a key focus of Mutual Benefits’ CSR activities. Our resolve is driven by the need to creatively add value, and the understanding that gifted youths need platforms such as this to develop, receive mentorship, and showcase their talents.”
