As part of efforts to take insurance to more Nigerians, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc has entered into a partnership arrangement with Refugio, a smart communication company managing the latest Samsung Experience Centre in Lagos.
The company says customers who purchase any of the Samsung items automatically qualify for certain insurance policies, according to the terms of the contract.
The Group Managing Director, Mutual Benefits, Mr. Akin Ogunbiyi, said the firm was committed to delivering quality service through strategic partnership.
“We showcase Mutual Benefits’ partnership with Refugio, a smart communication company that is determined to deliver a unique and never to be forgotten experience in the acquisition of Samsung wearable assets such as a full range of Samsung phones and accessories, tablets, ipads, watches and cameras,” he said.
Ogunbiyi stated that Mutual Benefits in partnership with Refugio and Samsung was providing value on every Samsung product purchased from the high class retail stores.
The value from Mutual Benefits offering, Ogunbiyi noted, would include automatic life cover compromising death, permanent disability and critical illnesses such as stroke, kidney failure and heart failure.
“You are qualified for substantial discount on comprehensive motor insurance that comes with free tracking as well as affordable premium on combined fire and burglary insurance that offers protection for fixed assets such as building (private, commercial or industrial) against physical loss, damage or theft,” he said.
Ogunbiyi recalled that recently, the company won the award as the best innovative insurance company of the year at the African insurance summit in Tunis, Tunisia.
He said the award was in recognition of the efforts, innovation, investment and development seen in the Nigerian insurance market.
The group managing director said that the initiative of the National Insurance Commission in developing the sector also contributed to the achievement on the continent.
